Itinerary

Day 1 | Stockholm, Sweden: Experience your own private Stockholm as you explore the interlacing canals and 14 tiny islands that surround this magical city. Renowned for its progressive nature, Stockholm offers avant-garde design, and trendy fashions. Visit the UNESCO sites of Frottningholm and Skogskykogarden, and the Södermalm neighborhood to discover charming old homes and picturesque main streets lined with unique shops, art galleries, and entertaining nightclubs.

Day 2 | Mariehamn, Finland: Celebrate the colorful center of this isolated archipelago as you join other gleaming boats in a postcard-perfect marina. Halfway between Sweden and Finland, this is the only part of Finland that speaks Swedish. Wander down the nearby Esplanade, an avenue of stately trees stretching from harbor to harbor. Explore the city's shipbuilding history at the Aland Maritime Museum. You'll feel at home here - Mariehamn was the home of the designer of our beautiful Windstar sailing ships.

Day 3 | Tallinn, Estonia: The spires of 14th century churches soar above fashion-forward cafés, restaurants, and shops within the stone walls of Tallinn. Medieval Old Town is the well-preserved – and thriving – center of town, where you’ll find impressive guild houses, St. Olav’s Church, and other architectural treasures. Beyond Old Town lies Peter the Great’s Baroque masterpiece, Kadriorg Palace – and sunny Pirita beach.

Day 4 & 5 | St. Petersburg, Russia: Anticipation grows as you approach Peter the Great’s magnificent city, golden domes glistening under the magical “White Nights” of summer. The Hermitage Museum is a must-see with 353 rooms filled with masterpieces by the likes of Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and Da Vinci. At Catherine Palace, step into the breathtaking Amber Room, painstakingly reconstructed after its mysterious disappearance in World War II. Peterhof, the town of palaces, rivals Versailles with its gilded fountains and sprawling parks.

Day 6 | Helsinki, Finland: Art Nouveau buildings, museums, timeless restaurants, and charming cafés are sprinkled throughout the harbor dominating this maritime city. Discover reminders of the early czars’ influence at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and the fortress on Suomenlinna Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shop along Market Square and in Aleksanterinkatu. And don’t miss a chance to enjoy a cocktail at the breathtaking Hotel Kämp.

Day 7 | At Sea

Day 8 | Copenhagen, Denmark: This fairytale city is filled with magical choices. Explore the harbor where Hans Christian Andersen once lived. Pay your respects to the Queen at Rosenborg Palace, or to the Danish Parliament at Christiansborg Palace. Find a feast for the eyes and food for the soul (and stomach) at Tivoli Gardens.

Day 9 | At Sea

Day 10 | Stavanger, Norway: Here’s a day for exploration. Your ship will dock in the very city center near the oldest part of town. A short stroll will take you to Stavanger Cathedral, the best preserved medieval cathedral in Norway, the city center and cobblestone pedestrian streets. Just an hour’s boat trip away is the 2,000-foot-high Pulpit Rock with its magnificent views of the lovely Lysefjord.

Day 11 | Flam, Norway: A tiny town of only 500 residents, yet people have been traveling here from all over since the end of the 19th century. You’ll understand why when you arrive. Take one of the world’s most breathtaking railroad journeys up the mountain to gasp at the fjord below.

Day 11 | Scenic Cruising Sognefjord: Cruise up the longest and deepest fjord in Norway – and possibly the most beautiful. At its deepest the Sognefjord drops to more than 4,265 feet with the striking contrast of the mountains rising to more than 5,570 feet. You will be able to enjoy the scenery long into the evening due to the late sunsets.

Day 12 | Alesund, Norway: At the entrance to spectacular Geirangerfjord, Alesund has been voted the most beautiful town in Norway, and not only because of its location. The town burned to the ground in 1904 and was rebuilt in Art Nouveau style, with a few added elements from Nordic mythology – a longboat here, an image of Thor there.

Day 13 | At Sea

Day 14 | Svolvaer, Lofoten Islands, Norway: The busy fishing port of Svolvaer is surrounded by the high cliffs of Lofoten, excellent nesting sites for seabirds and other wildlife. The many migrating orcas are another reason to visit here.

Day 14 | Scenic Cruising Trollfjord, Lofoten Islands, Norway: Exotic and surprisingly narrow Trollfjord is a little over a mile long and the entrance to the fjord is only 328 feet wide, with its greatest width 2,500 feet, making it accessible only to small ships. The striking steep mountains surrounding the fjord range between 1,969 and 3,609 feet high and the fjord is 236 feet deep.

Day 15 | Bodo, Norway: Lovely Bodø is the northernmost terminus for Norway’s railway system and the gateway to the Lofoten Islands and the true north of Norway. Founded in 1816, the town was completely levelled during WWII bombing and its main charm is actually the rugged peaks and glorious skies around it. This area also supports the world’s densest concentration of white-tailed sea eagles, earning Bodø the nickname of Sea Eagle Capital.

Day 16 | Tromso, Norway: Sitting 217 miles north of the Arctic Circle, Tromsø is Norway’s gateway to the Arctic. Its picturesque setting, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and sparkling fjords, offers spectacular scenery everywhere you look. Home to the world’s northernmost university, Tromsø also has the largest number of old wooden houses, dating from 1789. Linked to the mainland by a beautiful bridge, Tromsø sites include the Tromsø Cathedral, Norway’s only wooden cathedral, Northern Europe’s oldest cinema, built in 1915, and the cable car that goes up Mount Storsteinen, 1,380 feet above sea level.

Day 17 | Honningsvag (North Cape), Norway: This gateway to the famous North Cape was established in 1996 as the northernmost city of Norway. Honningsvåg is surrounded by stunning fjords and waterfalls, dense forests filled with reindeer and the mysterious summertime light of the Midnight Sun. The 19th century church was the only building not destroyed by German troops during WWII when they set the town on fire. Make sure you have time to visit the Ice Bar where everything is completely made of ice.

Days 18 – 19 | At Sea

Day 20 | Geiranger, Norway: Visit tiny goat villages to sample homemade cheese. Take a RIB boat out on the spectacular Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buy yourself a mango ice cream cone and absorb all the beauty around you.

Day 20 | Scenic Cruising Geirangerfjord: Cruise up 9-mile-long Geirangerfjord, one of the most famous fjords of Norway. This UNESCO site has several impressive waterfalls and your ship will cruise by the most famous waterfall of the fjord – the characteristic Seven Sisters Waterfall.

Day 21 | Bergen, Norway: Colorful Bryggen, Bergen’s Hanseatic quay and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is so delightful you may find it difficult to explore further. But do. Watch the Huldras (forest nymphs) dance at Kjosfossen Waterfall, wander the narrow smau between the old buildings climbing the hillside.

Day 22 | At Sea

Food and Dining

All meals in all venues at all times, including room service menu available 24 hours. All non-alcoholic beverages, including cappuccino, espresso, and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks are offered to guests. There is also a welcome cocktails reception as well.

Onboard Activities/Events

Guests are allowed unlimited access to use all water sports equipment and there is also on board entertainment. A casino, library/business center, lounge, pool, whirlpool, and screening room are also available for guests at their leisure.

Enjoy a luxurious soak in your full-size tub or an invigorating shower, then wrap up in your waffle-weave robe and slippers, savor a treat from the fresh fruit bowl, or simply stretch out and enjoy the fresh flowers.
Classic Suites allow you to relax in 400 to 530 spacious square feet. Your living area offers beautiful views from the forward-facing window and French doors onto your private veranda. Two spacious closets give you plenty of room to unpack.
Owner’s Suites with 575 square feet, your Owner’s Suite offers separate living room and dining areas. A veranda, two flat-screen TVs and DVD players, and a full master bath and separate powder room indulge you in spacious comfort.
