Itinerary

Day 1 |  United States / Lima, Peru

After you relaxing flight, your guide will escort you to your private transfer to check-in at the Hilton Lima Miralores for a two-night stay. Enjoy your evening at leisure at your hotel located in the heart of Miraflores. Enjoy traditional Peruvian cuisine, 207 guestrooms and suites with complimentary Wi-Fi, a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center and an executive lounge with views of Lima.

Day 2 |  Lima

Your first day starts with a Lima Gourmet Experience. Delight in five stops between the Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro districts, strolling trendy areas and top attractions. Visit an organic Peruvian coffee roasterie and taste tempting bites at a local market. Then, savor a pisco tasting and hands-on cocktail and cibiche making class with a professional chef. Relish a gourmet lunch and dessert at one of the top restaurants in Lima with views of the pre-Incan ruins.
This afternoon, embark on the Colonial & Modern Lima City Excursion. Explore this "City of Kings" with a visit to the historical center, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor and the Government Palace. Continue on to the San Isidro and Miraflores districts, El Olivar Park and The Love Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3 |  Lima / Cusco City / Sacred Valley

Your private transfers takes you to the airport for your hour long flight into Cusco City. Continue in to the Sacred Valley for the Pisac Market & Pisac Ruins Experience. Famed for its ruins, visit Inti Wantana including the Temple of the Sun, baths, altars, water fountains, ceremonial platform and volcanic ritual stone. Explore the Pisac Market for regional artisan goods, interact with the locals and barter with merchants. Enjoy lunch at a local hacinenda before checking in to Casa Andina Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas for a three-night stay.

Day 4 |  Sacred Valley

Enjoy your guided Chinchero Village, Maras Saltpans & Moray Terrace Excursion. Delight in this authentic Andean village's character visiting its colonial church and school of art. Then, visit the home of a master weaver for a demonstration, explore the saltpans' never-ending terraces and the fortress built to protect the valley from invasions. The day includes a private weaving demonstration in the home of a master weaver and a cooking classs to learn to make chili an a batan with lunch.

Day 5 |  Sacred Valley

A day of exploration awaits on the Ollantaytambo Fortress, Patacancha Community & Pumamarca Archaeological Site Excursion. Ollantaytambo Fortress was built in order to guard the entrance of the valley from the invasions of the tribes from the lowlands. Stop at Patacancha community , a nearby traditional Quechua village to learn weaving techniques and visit a local home. Journey on the archaeological site of Pumamarcan overlooking the Yuracmayo River, travel through beautiful countryside, enjoy a delicious lunch and hike downhill back to Ollanyaytambo.

Day 6 | Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu

After arrival in Machu Picchu, enjoy an amazing ride on the Machu Picchu via Train Excursion. Board the train for the mountain-top city abandoned by the Inca Empire, rediscovered in 1911. Upon reaching the peak, explore the ruins, citadel, terraces, ramps and take in the breathtaking views. You day includes lunch, then check-in to Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 7 |  Machu Picchu / Cusco City

Marvel at the stunning sunrise and spend a second day uncovering the wonders of Machu Picchu mountain, town and hot springs. Then, board your return train for a ride to the Cusco City and check-in to Inkaterra La Casona for a two-night stay. The first boutique hotel in Cusco, Inkaterra La Casona is located in the traditional Plaza de las Nazarenas, surrounded by vibrant, cobblestoned streets. This 16th Century manor house stands on the training grounds for an elite army of Incas, and had Spanish Conquistador Diego de Almagro and Libertador Simon Bolivar among its illustrious guests.

Day 8 |  Cusco City

Enjoy the Cusco City Excursion including San Pedro Market & Sacsayhuaman on this guided day adventure. Lean about Inca history as you stroll the Main Square, cathedral and San Pedro Market for indigenous crafts. Explore Sacsayhuaman Fortress, a ceremonial compound boasting panoramic city views. Then, enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 9 |  Cusco City / Lima

Relax on the scenic transfer back to the airport for you flight in to Lima. Then, enjoy your comfortable flight home or extend your stay in Peru with some post nights at a plush resort for time to explore more of this incredible country.
