General Information
The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, the Main Lodge serves as the hub for activities and dining, so it's easy to get to the pools, Ascent Spa and other activities. Or, stroll down to Jackalope's Bar & Grill to relax with a glass of wine and a delicious meal. Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite hotel rooms in the Main Lodge are just one option. You can also choose to stay in a Cottage Room or Suite, each with a fireplace and an outdoor sitting area. Or, upgrade to the ultimate experience, the two-bedroom Explorer Cabins. All cabins have private balconies and fireplaces, for a cozy feel offered by few standard Yosemite hotel rooms.

Room Details

Premium Rooms | Located inside the main lodge building measure 350 square feet and offer a preferred view of Tenaya's mountainous surrounding. The room offers two Queen-size beds or one King-size bed, newly upgraded bathrooms with granite countertops, rustic style sliding doors and an updated décor throughout the whole room.
Extended Rooms | Offer an additional 75 square feet of living space than our regular Deluxe and Premium rooms to stretch out and relax; 425 sq ft. The Extended King room offers a sitting space with plush overstuffed chairs, coffee table and a sleeper sofa.
Spa Rooms | Provides a comfortable living space and spacious bathroom making it perfect for romantic getaways or celebrating special occasions. This studio-style Suite offers one King-size bed with a sitting area, wet bar and a private balcony or patio. The bathroom offers a large vanity with an over-sized whirlpool tub and a separate rain shower.
Cottage Rooms | Are part of a duplex or triplex cottage building nestled into the Sugar Pine and Incense Cedar forest offering a more secluded mountain getaway and just a short walk from the main lodge. The studio-style rooms offer a fireplace, one King-size bed or two Queen-size beds and a private outdoor seating area for full relaxation.

Suite Details

Cottage Suites | Are part of a triplex cottage building nestled into the Sugar Pine and Incense Cedar forest offering a more secluded mountain getaway and just a short walk from the main lodge. The Cottage Suites are located on the second floor with an open-air staircase, one Queen-size bed in a private bedroom and a separate living space with a sleeper sofa OR one Queen bed and one King-size bed. The living space also features a gas fireplace, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Each suite also has a private balcony for full relaxation.
Two-Bedroom Explorer Cabins | Explorer cabins are located on 27 forested acres with views of a creek, pond and alpine meadows. You'll be able to reconnect with nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air just outside your doorstep. Yet, the Explorer Clubhouse is only about a 10-minute walk along a quiet path from the main lodge if you want to eat out, get a massage, or play in the pool. If you don't want to walk, take the convenient shuttle service (operating 24 hours a day), or make the quick trip in your car. All cabins have two bedrooms, a living room, and a 90-square-foot covered porch to relax on and take in the smell of the pines. Explorer Cabins also include a wetbar area with a compact fridge and freezer, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Please note: cabins do not include an oven, range or cooking utensils.

Jackalope's Bar & Grill |Is the place to relax, kick-back and enjoy Sierra pub fare and a full bar after your day in Yosemite. Jackalope's features made-to-order grilled burgers, sandwiches, specialty salads and heart-healthy, gluten-free and vegan options. Many dishes are prepared from local and organic sources.
Gold Rush BBQ | A classic Tenaya Lodge barbecue, with live entertainment so you can dance your way through the evening, and all of those delicious barbecue favorites. Enjoy classic menu items such as tri-tip, chicken, burgers, salads, corn on the cob, apple cobbler, s'mores, and of course the fresh Sierra air.
Embers Restaurant | The perfect venue if are looking for a spot to sit and reminisce about your adventures in Yosemite National Park or to relax after a long day of riding mountain bikes through the Sierra National Forest while enjoying delicious mountain fare. Offering hearty menu options and an extensive drink menu, Embers offers a classic mountain dining experience with a modern touch while providing a warm and inviting meal with your loved ones.
Timberloft Pizzeria | Offers artisanal pizzas, pasta and other Italian favorites near the cottages. It's a delicious family-friendly option.
Parkside Deli | Get your morning cup of coffee, favorite espresso drink or delicious smoothie.
Barefoot Bar | Located poolside. This full bar offers signature cocktails, cold draft beer including craft brews, local wines, and menu of summertime food favorites. Watch sports at the bar, enjoy lunch at one of the umbrella-covered tables, or lounge in a poolside cabana.

Recreation

Guided Nature Walks | Walk with a Tenaya guide through the Sierra National Forest. Learn about the plants and animals of the area and open your senses to nature. Your guide will take you through about 1.5 miles of forest trails, leaving directly from the hotel - no need for a car! This is a relatively easy walk accessible to a wide range of walkers. This is a great way to learn about the plants and animals in and near Yosemite.
Pools | After a day of Yosemite adventure, take a dip in one of Tenaya Lodge's three outdoor pools, including a kid's pool with water features and a new adults-only relaxation pool. Lounge in a private cabana, sip refreshments from the Bearfoot Bar and enjoy an evening dive-in poolside movies. Complementing the cool swimming pools are four hot tubs.
Archery | Everyone age 5 and up can hone archery skills and become masters of the bow. After a short safety course, it's off to Tenaya's archery target range to get your "Brave" on.
Winter Ice Skating | Tenaya's sparkling white ice rink measures an expansive 80 feet by 40 feet, and is open for day and evening skating sessions. Enjoy the romance and family fun of gliding over the ice while surrounded by the Sierra National Forest. Ice skating is a winter sport that's a fun challenge for all ages and abilities.
Climbing Wall | For a great intro to rock climbing, get a grip on Tenaya Lodge's fun, 18-foot climbing wall. Learn basic safety precautions and fundamental rock climbing techniques that might one day "scale" all the way up El Capitan! This is a great way for children and adults to get their first taste of climbing.
Guided Flashlight Hike | Time for a night prowl! Walk through the forests of the night with one of Tenaya's experienced nature guides. Use all your senses to tune into nature in a different way when the world is asleep. Learn about the stars and forest life at night and see the bright stars unobstructed by the lights of the city.

Ascent Spa | Enter a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. Indulge in first-class spa treatments that were inspired by Yosemite's natural side. Unwind in the sauna or relax in the steam room and cultivate your inner peace. Wellness resided here.
