Elevated on stilts to maximise sea views and nestled on a verdant hillside against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Agung, Amankila’s Suites overlook the waters of the Lombok Strait and a private beach.
Garden Suite | Designed to maximize the spectacular sea and hillside views, Amankila’s 1,011 square feet stilted Garden Suites have an expansive terrace for outdoor living. Engulfed by a lush hillside beneath sacred Mount Agung, the canopied king-sized bed and living area with writing desk, window-side divan and daybed creates a private escape, perfect for couples exploring Bali’s central heartland. The suites also have a spacious bathroom complete with bathtub to encourage relaxation.
Ocean Suite | Amankila’s spacious, stilted Ocean Suites face the Lombok Strait against the backdrop of Mount Agung. Elegantly spread over 1,104 square feet with expansive terraces, they offer guests exceptional privacy, engulfed by the verdant mountainside with tranquil ocean views over the resort’s private beach. Coconut shell and rattan furniture brings the naturally beautiful setting indoors, where a canopied king-sized bed, extensive living area and bathroom with deep-soaking bathtub creates a temple of seclusion.
Pool Suite | Offering consummate privacy overlooking the waters of the Lombok Strait, Amankila’s 2,196 square feet)Pool Suites have their own private swimming pools and an outdoor terrace form which to take in the views. Inside, a canopied king-sized bed offers subtle grandeur while a living area with writing desk, window-side divan and daybed encourages relaxation. The bathroom features a deep soaking bathtub, dressing area and twin vanities for a spacious feel. If required, selected Pool Suites can also be connected with Ocean and Garden Suites via the pool courtyard to accommodate larger groups and families.
Infinity Suite | Amankila’s three unique infinity pool suites are all slightly different in layout, yet each is set high on the hillside with views of the Lombok Strait and features a private infinity pool overlooking the beautiful Amuk Bay. Offering an outdoor terrace and lounging pavilion, the suites combine an open-air lifestyle with all the amenities needed to create a comfortable and restful retreat, including a canopied king-sized bed, living idea with daybed, table and chairs, and bathroom with twin vanities.
Kilasari Suite | Situated high on the hillside overlooking the Lombok Strait, the 3,251 square feet Kilasari Suite has a large private infinity pool overlooking the mountainside as well as an expansive terrace from which to admire the views. An idyllic retreat for those wishing to explore Bali or simply seeking solace, the suite also has an outdoor bale for lounging, and a canopied king-sized bed for a restful night’s sleep. Social areas include living area with writing desk, a window-side divan and a daybed while a spacious bathroom with bathtub, dressing areas, twin vanities and separate shower and WC affords each guest space and privacy.
Indrakila Suite | Offering its own swimming pool, outdoor terrace and lounging pavilion, the 2,680 square feet Indrakila Suite is set in a verdant hillside location affording serene sea and temple views. With a canopied king-sized bed, the suite is well-suited to couples seeking a little more space but can also be joined to Suite 35 to accommodate larger parties. A living area with writing desk, window-side divan and daybed provides ample space to lounge, while the bathroom with bathtub, dressing areas, twin vanities and separate shower and WC ensures consummate comfort and privacy.
Amankila Suite | Overlooking the beach and Amuk Bay, the 7,104 square feet two-bedroom Amankila Suite offers a private butler service, a large outdoor terrace, and an aquamarine-tiled pool, ideal for families seeking coastal seclusion. Two bedrooms with king-sized canopied beds encourage a restful night’s sleep, while two lounging pavilions and a living area with window-side divan provide spaces for guests to come together. The suite also has a spacious bathroom with bathtub, dressing areas, twin vanities, and separate shower and WC.

Restaurants

Beach Club | A simple menu of salads and pizzas along with Indonesian and light Western dishes are served at the Beach Club for brunch, lunch, and afternoon tea. Overlooking the resort’s largest swimming pool, the Beach Club is located behind the beach in a peaceful coconut grove. Drinks and light meals can also be enjoyed in eight secluded lounging bales right on the sand.
Harvest Table | Accommodating just eight guests, the Harvest Table is situated in its own private pavilion with breathtaking views of the Lombok Strait. Celebrating Balinese cuisine with traditional dishes curated from the finest seasonal ingredients, this all-day dining venue is a convivial gathering place where friends, family and fellow guests can come together.
The Restaurant & Bar | Amankila’s elegant, open-sided Restaurant is located above the main pool with breathtaking views of the ocean. Open for dinner, its menu features both Indonesian and Western dishes, with free-range duck reared on the resort’s farm in Jasri a specialty, and fresh ingredients picked daily from the resort’s organic garden. Begin your evening with a drink in the Bar alongside the Restaurant, a lofty-ceilinged space with the same awe-inspiring views.
The Terrace | Set just back from Amankila’s signature three-tier pool, the Terrace is open for breakfast and lunch, offering a selection of Asian and Western fare with panoramic sea views. Herbs come from the resort’s own garden, while locally sourced fruit and vegetables are the result of Mount Agung’s fertile soil.

Recreation

Test your balance on our slackline tethered in the coconut grove, try your hand at beach golf, or relax by the pool. A range of activities are available directly from Amankila’s Beach Club. Located in the unspoilt Eastern region of Bali, there are many opportunities for exploration by bike. One of the most popular routes, Budakeling to Ujung, begins in the shadow of Mount Agung and takes guests past Tirta Gangga Water Palace, along quiet village roads and emerald-green rice terraces.

Spa

Drawing on the energy of East Bali, the Spa’s therapies aim for complete relaxation and presence in the moment. Natural ingredients are used in traditional Balinese baths, scrubs and wraps – available in the privacy of guest Suites, the massage pavilion, a beach bale or secluded open-air spot with tropical canopy.
