Located on Malolo Island in the stunning Mamanuca group of islands, Tropica Island Resort is Fiji’s newest 4 star boutique. The resort is 16 miles from Fiji's Internation Airport.

General Information

The recently upgraded resort features a stunning 25 metre horizon pool, 12 fully refurbished Beachfront Bures and 4 Deluxe Beachfront Bures with outdoor river-rock showers, air conditioning and hardwood balconies, Sunset beach bar, open air restaurant with bar, Activities Bure, tranquil Spa, welcoming reception and 14 new Resort Rooms.

Room Details

Resort Rooms 14 in total are built into the hillside and situated at ground level. The rooms include ensuite bathroom, king sized bed (or 2 king singles), air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridges, hair dryers, iron and ironing board on request. The resort rooms are ideally suited to a couple or twin share. The Resort Rooms have 1 King Bed or 2 Single Beds and maximum occupancy is 2 adults.
Beachfront Bures: Spacious and modern, the bures are luxuriously appointed with handcrafted furniture, blending both contemporary island style with Fijian architecture. All bures are free standing with outdoor river-rock showers and private balconies. All bures are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridges, hair dryers, iron and ironing board.

Suite Details

Spoil yourself in a luxurious duplex Beachfront Suite (4 in all) designed for those that like more space. Light-filled open plan interiors see an expansive bedroom, lounge area, large walk in robe and modern appointed bathroom. The Beachfront Suites are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridges, hair dryers, iron and ironing board. They also feature hand crafted Fijian furnishings including outdoor river-rock showers and private balconies. All Beachfront Suites offer the standard room amenities befitting a 4 star resort including an iPod docking station. The Beachfront Suites have 1 King Bed & 2 Single Beds and maximum occupancy

Restaurants

Dine poolside under the stars in the newly renovated restaurant and bar. Choose from a combination of local dishes, international cuisine and themed buffet nights. Offering a continental or full cooked breakfast, a la carte lunch and dinner, all meals are prepared by talented chefs and designed to tantalise the taste buds Situated on the water’s edge the Sunset bar offers guests a more casual dining experience where you can relax and chill in comfort. Distinctive cocktails and breathtaking sunsets make for a perfect combination. Private romantic dinners can also be arranged beachside or on the pier.

Recreation

Guests may also enjoy complimentary use of all non-motorised activities including hobie cats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkeling equipment. Other activities include beach volleyball, hiking, beach petanque (boules), crab racing, herbal medicinal walks and nightly cultural entertainment. Enjoy cultural activities such as basket and hat weaving, sulu tying, coconut husking and kava ceremonies.
For an additional charge, Tropica can also arrange more adventurous activities such as fishing, scuba diving, island hopping and village visits.

A great way to unwind and relax the mind and body is a visit to the Tropica Day Spa – Serenity by Senikai Spas. Experience a range of products and treatments using local Fijian skin and body care products that will promote total rejuvenation and wellbeing.
