Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa is situated over two absolute beachfront locations in the Muri Beach area of Rarotonga which also has the small outer islands very close by. This is on the Southern side of the island, which is protected largely from tropical cyclones and which has spectacular sunrises, rising moon over the water, and the afterglow of spectacular sunsets.

Room Details

Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. The 7 air-conditioned guestroom categories at Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa include private plunge pools and safes. Wireless high-speed Internet access (surcharge) is provided. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs with DVD players. Bathrooms offer showers, bathrobes, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries. All units at this 5-star resort have kitchens with stovetops, full-sized refrigerators/freezers, microwaves, and dishwashers. Additional amenities include coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards. Housekeeping is offered daily.

Villas: Most villas features two bedrooms, both having super king four poster canopied beds, fully airconditioned with fan options. two bathrooms two basins, bidet, Italian fittings, glass showers with twin shower heads, high quality furniture and furnishings, 46 inch TV with full surround sound audo/visual system, over 400 movies, TV series on hard drive, fully equipped kitchen, Italian expresso machine, and handpainted dinnerware.
Villa exteriors feature gated private courtyard with private swimming pool set in tropical gardens and water features, waterfalls off natural rock flowing into the pool, hot bubbling spa pool for enjoying cooler star gazing evenings, decks both lagoon side and pool side of villa, large barbeque, sunloungers, on both front and rear decks, outdoor dining tables and chairs, personal kayaks, only a few steps onto the beach of beautiful southern Muri Lagoon, and a stroll to world famous snorkelling by Fruits of Rarotonga.

All-Inclusive

The resort features VIP airport transfers to and from the Rarotonga airport, daily servicing, guest laundry, complimentary wireless internet access, tour, car, and scooter rentals, daily breakfast, and flower lei's and gift baskets upon arrival.

Restaurants

Rarotonga now hosts an excellent range of restaurants inclusive of wines, with many of these being within a very close range of Rumours Luxury Villas & Spa Rarotonga – either within a 15-20 minute stroll along the beach or a three minute drive or scooter ride away with many others scattered around the island. We have some very close to Rumours who offer a pick up and return service either complimentary or for a small charge.

Recreation

The resort staff will be very happy to arrange any tour/day trip you may decide you want to take when staying, and these could range from Dive Trips (and these operate from several Dive Companies, twice a day, 7 days a week, with the option of night dives as well). Maybe you would rather enjoy the fun of spending a few hours on a Raro Safari Tour, where you will be taken four wheel driving up into the hills to enjoy the spectacular views back over the island, the motus and the lagoon/reef.

Spa

The Rumors Waterfalls Spa is an award winning facility featuring a Vichy Shower, body scrubs, body masks, Ayurda beauty facials, and a variety of different massage methods and therapies.
Rumours Multi Award Winning Waterfall Spa in Rarotonga has been selected by the World Travel Awards Group as the winner for the “Best Resort Spa in the Cook Islands” for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. This is largely thanks to our two wonderful Professional Therapists who are fully trained in all aspects of Spa and Beauty therapies. They give clients a wonderful experience which helps add another dimension of relaxation and rejuvenation to their tropical island holiday in Rarotonga.
