The resort is divided into three different ambiances. The adults-only section is designed for optimum privacy and relaxation; it features 90 high-end ocean-view suites with private plunge pools, in-suite massage areas and Jacuzzis. The family-oriented area of the resort has 195 suites with terraces, sitting areas and stunning views to the Mexican Caribbean. The Mayan jungle area has 254 furnished suites perfect for families, couples or business travelers due to their proximity to the Convention Center. All the 1000-plus, square-foot suites offer in-suite Jacuzzis, private terraces or balconies, mini bars, Nespresso coffee makers, Wi-Fi, L’Occitane toiletries, daily turndown service, 24-hour suite service and personal concierge service.

Kids Program

Grand Velas Kids Club offers an innovative program where your children play, learn, and make new friends, while doing fun activities in a safe and pleasant atmosphere supervised by our certified personnel. The program is flexible and adapts to the ages and wishes of all the children. Every season we design special activities to have fun with Amy, the resort mascot, who is responsible to accompany them in all their adventures. The Kids Club is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is part of the Luxury All-Inclusive plan. Ages five to 12 years are welcome.
