General Information

Relax at the resort’s 142-yard lagoon style pool, taste fresh island cuisine, learn indigenous Hawaiian cultural activities and play at the white sandy beach. Eighty-three percent of the resort’s 508 newly-renovated rooms and suites feature breathtaking views of the Pacific, and sister islands Lanai and Molokai, as well as modern amenities and island-inspired artwork and decor. With five on-site restaurants, world-class snorkeling and ocean activities, nearby Kaanapali Golf Courses and easy access to Whalers Village, Lahaina town, and island adventures, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa is the perfect launching pad to explore all that Maui has to offer.

Room Details

Almost all of the 508 rooms including 44 suites directly face the Pacific, with a private lanai for contemplating the view. Inside, a Sheraton Signature Bed, a plush armchair with ottoman, high speed Internet access, a flat-screen TV with cable, a safety deposit box, in-room coffee/tea, a mini-refrigerator, hair dryer and iron and ironing board.

Suite Details

Suites additionally provide a separate comfortable living area, a microwave and wet bar.

Guest Services

Amenities include an activity desk, beach towels, bellman, business services, concierge, laundry service, daily newspaper, housekeeping, sundry store, dry cleaning service, valet service at the resort, live poolside entertainment before sunset with torch lighting and cliff diving ceremony.
Additional amenities include unlimited Wi Fi access in guest rooms, lobby, pool bars and Hoku Rotunda, valet parking on the day of arrival (first night only), unlimited local telephone calls (on-island), credit card and 800# access telephone calls up to 60 minutes, shuttle service to Lahaina and to our three resorts in Ka’anapali, adult pool floats, professional resort photo session and keepsake 4 x 8 photo and signature logo Hawaiian tote bag.
Daily resort charge of $25 plus tax per room, per night will be payable directly to the hotel and is subject to change without notice.

ROCKsalt serves a breakfast buffet with a la carte options and fresh seafood and steak menu in the evening.
Teppanyaki Dan: Japanese, resort wear.
Cliff Dive Bar serves cool tropical drinks and Maui Asian Fusion light menu for lunch and dinner.
Mai Tai Bar features tropical treats and lunches poolside.
Maui Nui Luau at Black Rock is situated beachfront on award-winning Kaanapali Beach the Maui Nui Luau shares the music, dance and history of the islands with Hawaiian feast and all-inclusive beverages.
Hank’s Haute Dogs is open daily for lunch serving gourmet hot dogs.

Recreation

142-yard swimming pool with freshwater lagoons feeding into one large pool. Outdoor jacuzzi in the middle of a rock formation, small water slide, cushioned lounges, two pool bars and one snack bar. A gift shop, sundry store, activity desk and in-room movies and video games. Nearby snorkeling, scuba diving, catamaran, wind surfing, whale watching (seasonal), tennis, and fitness center.

Golf

Kaanapali Golf Couse offers 36 holes of legendary golf that plays through the beautiful foothills of the West Maui Mountains and thrills golfers with sweeping panoramas of the coastline. It is recognized as a world-class golf facility and has hosted may professional events.

Spa

The Spa at Black Rock features indoor and outdoor secluded relaxation areas and seven luxurious treatment rooms available for massages, body treatments, facials, skin enhancements, manicures and pedicures.

Fitness

Three hardcourt tennis courts on property with lighting, and a state of the art fitness center that is fully equipped and open 24 hours for guests.

Other Information

With the Stay at One, Dine at All program, guests staying at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa and The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, may enjoy restaurants and bars, and can sign charges back to their room at their host resort. For all properties, meals included in room packages must be taken at the hotel where the guest is registered.
