Room Details

Orchid Rooms allow you to relax in the inviting ambience of this splendid room. Experience a vast open space with unobstructed views of the exterior tropical setting magnificently complemented by a modern interior with colorful décor. The bathroom features the “rainforest shower” with its natural skylight. The shower floors have been meticulously pieced together with local stones that gently massage your feet. There is a cozy sitting area that invites guests to read, lounge, or relax. Included amenities feature a 42” flat screen TV, a comfortable king bed or two queen beds fitted with luxurious bed linens, and a sofa bed.

Suite Details

Tabacon Suites feature the largest single room category, offering a luxurious setting and impressive views of the rainforest. Elegantly designed for relaxation and comfort, the suites include one king bed or two full beds, plus a pullout sofa bed. There is also a spacious seating and dining area. Exclusive amenities include luxurious bath products chosen to complement the in-room, hot-spring fed, double hot tub or the separate glass-enclosed hot spring shower. Included amenities: 42” flat screen TV in the bedroom and 26” flat screen TV in the bathroom.
Senator Suites combine extensive space, extraordinary comfort and exquisite design in one thoughtful setting. These suites are ideal for families seeking more spacious accommodations, which include a dining and living room conceptualized so as to provide the ideal space for a truly memorable experience. Sleeping areas include a master bedroom with a king bed and terrace overlooking the impressive rainforest, and a second bedroom with two full beds. A beautifully appointed master bathroom features an in-room Jacuzzi and separate glass-enclosed shower. A second lavatory plus a spacious walk-in closet add to the suite’s privacy and style. Included amenities feature a 55” Smart TV in the living area, 42” Flat Screen TV in the secondary bedroom and 26” flat screen TV in the bathroom.

Restaurants

Ave del Paraiso offers guests Costa Rican cuisine as well as international fare. Located in the hot springs area serving a la carte lunch options and a dinner buffet guests can enjoy many plates.
Los Tucanes Restaurant specializes in international fare served a la carte as a breakfast buffet as well as dinner.
Arenal Pool Bar is located in the resort’s main pool and serves snacks at drinks at the traditional swim-up bar and pool resting area.
Cana Brava Bar features snacks, rum specialty drinks, infusions and cocktails in the hotel lobby.
Shangri-La Gardens Bar offers an adults-only atmosphere with snacks and cocktails so guests can relax.

Recreation

All guests have unlimited access to the thermal experience, which includes dozens of hot, mineralized river pools and exclusive access to the adults-only hideaway, the Shangri-La Gardens. The gardens and thermal river pools are located within walking distance or via a free shuttle ride from the hotel.

Spa

The Spa at Tabacon is not your typical hotel spa. Memorable spa treatments are rendered in outdoors bungalows tucked away among the trees, gardens and natural hot springs. The setting offers complete privacy, which key in order to achieve the desired state of peace and balance. Tabacon’s open-air spa bungalows are designed for individual or couple’s therapies. In these cozy bungalows, you are sheltered by a palm thatched roof and caña brava, a local wild shrub similar to bamboo. The structure and floor are made of very special, local hardwoods. The spa experience at Tabacon offers what is truly the most perfect match between spa design and nature.

Other Information

The meeting space includes a multipurpose room with large windows, providing essential brightness, spectacular views and cutting edge technology. It also offers indoor or outdoor function spaces with views of the magnificent forest and gardens, ideal for group meals, corporate meetings, weddings or customized social and business events.
