The Grill by Sean Connolly take pride in offering you a relaxed, uncomplicated atmosphere. An atmosphere that complements the fresh, honest fare, simply prepared to let the natural flavors shine through. From tender pasture-fed meat to succulent sustainable seafood, you'll notice there's a distinctly Kiwi accent to the menu. In fact most of the ingredients used are sourced locally from specially selected New Zealand suppliers, along with much of the cookware and a rather special wine list. It all helps remind the staff to keep things simple and authentic, and it helps keep the conversation flowing too.
MASU is an exciting Japanese robata restaurant and bar. MASU brings atmosphere, passion and a contemporary twist to the traditional robata style of cooking over an open charcoal grill. This pure approach to cuisine is reflected in the clean, natural décor. Add to this a lively, informal atmosphere and you have a beautifully bold and dramatically different style of Japanese dining in the heart of Auckland.
