Villa Description
Designed by a team of Italian architects, these elegant villas offer stylish indoor/outdoor accommodation effortlessly flowing between patio, covered living areas and the private pool deck. Golf cart(s) available for guests’ use. Restaurants
In addition to the five restaurant and bars located within the resort, Mandarin Oriental, Canouan is part of a 1200-acre estate community – Grenadines Estate, where four additional restaurants are just a short golf cart drive away. All restaurants and bars within Grenadines Estate offer guests the ability to charge to their suite or villa.
TIDES BAR + GRILL serves the best from land and sea, using the finest ingredients, locally sourced delicacies, fresh catches-of-the-day and freshly picked vegetables. The menu features traditional and inventive dishes with a subtle Caribbean twist. Designed to appeal to a variety of tastes, small plate options include Conch Salad and Spiny Lobster Ravioli, with larger dishes such as Salt Baked Whole Reef Fish carved tableside for two, Colorado Rack of Lamb and classic Surf & Turf also on the menu.
Lagoon Café features an elegant beach house style bar and restaurant that enjoys a stunning alfresco setting overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. With a menu inspired by the sea surrounding Santorini, Sardinia and Larache, Lagoon Café serves wonderful Mediterranean-influenced seafood and tapas.
Turtles overlooks Godahl Beach at this Hamptons-esque lounge and bar that offers a tranquil escape from the Caribbean sun. Featuring warm-colored wood and decorative Maritime touches, it’s the perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail or post-dinner drink.
Pool Bar features inspired cuisine enhanced by blissful turquoise sea views. Enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the infinity pool and Godahl Beach, guests can also sip cocktails and enjoy the comfort of a private poolside cabana.
Asianne offers a Pan-Asian gem featuring the richly textured flavors of Indonesia and Thailand combined with unique Caribbean twists. Beautifully decorated in rich, jewel-tones of deep blue and golden yellow, Asianne centers around an impressively equipped open kitchen with a tandoor brick oven and cobalt blue Molteni stove from France.
Recreation
Guests can enjoy the large infinity pool on the terrace, hobie cats, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, hiking and biking.
For swimming with turtles, this is possible in the Tobago Cays. Some of the most breathtaking ocean life exists there, exotic coral on the seabed, sting rays and unlimited turtles swimming around you and even kite surfing for the thrill-seekers. This is possible for those guests who setup a paid boat excursion (half/full day boat trip). For those who wish to do scuba diving, that option is also available from Petit St. Vincent diving company, not too far from the Cays. The Recreations Manager can help setup these experiences.
Beach
Discover multiple beaches for your use. Enjoy Shell Beach's restaurants and recreation hut for watersports; the main quarter-mile long Godahl Beach with calm waters and breathtaking reef views; excursions begin from Carenage Bay where the resort's boats are moored; L'Ance Guyac Beach Club offers dining serves, calm waters and is only a 20-minute golf cart ride; and Twin Bay is just south of spa, take a sail boat or kayak from beach to beach.
Golf
Canouan has the only championship 18-hole golf course in the Grenadines. The par-72 Jim Fazio course is played over two nine-hole loops, with the front nine meandering around the bay for epic views of the beaches and reef, and the second nine climbing up the hillside, presenting you with more incredible vistas of Canouan and the surrounding islands. It also has one of the world's longest par-3s at 305 yards. A sundowner at the 13th hole is an unmissable treat.
Spa
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Canouan has10 hillside treatment suites overlooking the ocean. In a picturesque, utterly peaceful location, the spa at Mandarin Oriental, Canouan is a retreat for body and soul – as you approach along the wooden walkway on the beach, you already feel calmer. A wide choice of treatments and therapies, in suites that are looking the sea, are adapted for each individual guest.
Fitness
If you miss your exercise and don’t count gentle paddle-boarding, there is everything you need for a full-body workout – a large selection of cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment, including running and cycling machines, steppers and elliptical machines.
Nearby Attractions
There’s plenty to do and see on Canouan itself ¬– hop into your golf buggy (navigating around the tortoises) or on a bicycle and see if you can find the old Anglican church that was transported to the island centuries ago. There are also guided hikes up the 787ft Mount Royal, the highest peak on the island renowned for its wonderful panorama.
Kids Program
A heap of fun games awaits the tots in the fully equipped Kids’ and Teenagers’ Club. There’s Beach Olympics, cricket and yoga for keeping them active, and arts and crafts for creative little minds.

Ask about complimentary third night and sixth night promotions. Commercial Inter-island air transfers are available via Grenadines Alliance operated by SVG Air to and from Canouan (CIW) through Barbados (BGI), and St. Vincent (SVD). Alternatively, to reduce your transfer time to Canouan, SVG Air operates a six-seater Cessna Citation private jet available to guests for booking. For private air landing, Canouan’s 5900-foot illuminated runway can accommodate private aircrafts as large as a B737.
