Room Details
At St. James’s Club and Villas, this 100-acre peninsula resort features a vast choice of guestroom categories – each in their own distinct setting and secluded area of the resort. No matter your accommodation choice, your home away from home includes all the modern amenities you would expect and more, such as a private balcony or terrace, individually-controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans and cable television, as well as your beach towels, daily maid service, porter service and concierge.
Club Guestrooms |
The ground floor level club guestrooms provide guests with hotel-style accommodations featuring dark wood furnishings and a beautiful private balcony or terrace perfect for relaxing and taking in the tropical garden views by day, and the thrilling natural sounds of Antigua by night.
Premium Guestrooms |
Superbly appointed, the tropically decorated, these larger premium guestrooms are located on ground or upper floors. Ground floor guestrooms provide a beautiful private terrace, while upper floors feature a balcony for guests enjoyment. These guestrooms enjoy partial oceanview and garden views. Ideal for families or traveling groups of friends.
Beachfront Guestrooms |
The most spacious of all guestroom options, the beachfront guestrooms enjoy direct access to Coco Beach and are tropically decorated with a dark wood furnishings. Guestrooms on the ground floor feature double beds with a shower and tub, and choice of adjoining rooms, as well as a private terrace for enjoying the stunning views of Coco Beach – considered one of the best beaches in Antigua. While rooms on the top floor feature king beds with an extra-large shower and a private balcony.

With their classic Caribbean styling together with modern amenities guest enjoy a sophisticated, yet casual elegance. The adults-only Royal suites feature spectacular waterfront views of Mamora Bay and two pools. The junior suites provide a haven of calm with the soothing sound of the sea, located just a short stroll to the restaurants, pools & bars.
Royal Suites | Located in the bay area, the exclusive adults-only royal suites are like staying in a private resort within the resort. These suites offer an upscale experience starting with a dedicated check-in area, and guest enjoy privileged access to a quiet adults-only pool. Royal suites offer split-level accommodation, with a sunken living room with a marbled top wet bar, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private furnished balcony with spectacular panoramic views of the tranquil Mamora Bay. These spacious suites are larger than any of the guestroom options, measuring up to 568-square-feet and exude a Caribbean-style décor with striking furnishings and art, an expansive bathroom with his-and-hers showers and a deep-soaking tub, as well as complimentary in-suite internet access and refrigerator.
Junior Suites | Located on the southern edge, the junior suites provide a haven of calm with the soothing sound of the sea and are just a short stroll to the restaurants, pools and bars. Classic Caribbean styling together with modern amenities bring you a tranquil, sophisticated, yet casual elegance. The expansive junior suites provide over 400-square-feet of living space and a large private balcony with beautiful garden and sea views. Guestrooms are also equipped with an in-room refrigerator, large closet, bath with double vanity and an oversized tub with shower combo.
Villa Description
Boasting 1,600-square-feet of lavish living space, not to mention striking views of the bay, the St. James’s Club Antigua all-inclusive villas are the perfect option for couples, families, group of friends or colleagues, or wedding parties seeking more privacy and added amenities. Located in the picturesque Village area of the resort, dotted along the hillside above Mamora Bay, the villas offer an alluring club-like ambience that St. James’s Club is famed for. Superbly appointed, each villa comes with a full kitchen and sliding glass doors that open up to a large outdoor area with lounge chairs and a dining table.
Two-Bedroom Villas | These 1,600-square-foot, air-conditioned two-bedroom villas are a great choice for couples, families and groups who enjoy a sense of space. Cheery and bright with warm Caribbean tones and terra-cotta tile, the villas offer an expansive common area with separate roomy dining and living room spaces, a full kitchen, and an impressive balcony or patio overlooking Mamora Bay. Downstairs, the two-bedrooms have access to a separate downstairs patio through sliding-glass doors. The master suite features a king bed and a private bath with a shower and a deep soaking tub. The second bedroom offers two twin beds and a private bath.
Three-Bedroom Villas | The luxuriously appointed three-bedroom villas area located in the Club’s Village area, they are the most spacious of all the accommodation options, with an ample 1900-square-feet of luxurious dwelling to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests together. These villas feature three separate bedrooms, each with a private bath with shower. The master has a king-size bed, full bath with tub and shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a shower. And the third bedroom provides one queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a standing shower. These villas enjoy separate dining and living areas, a fully-equipped and spacious kitchen, and a balcony or patio with partial oceanviews of the beautiful Mamora Bay or garden views.
Villa Pax | Villa pax has been recently renovated and includes all the modern amenities an experienced traveler would expect. Guests enjoy a large, comfortable living area with a separate spacious dining room and an ultra-modern kitchen. Situated at the tip of the Mamora Bay peninsula, the villa shares the beautiful view of Mamora Bay. All guests staying at the Villa Pax will have full access to guest facilities of the resort. This three-bedroom, air-conditioned villa consists of two en-suite bathrooms and one outdoor bathroom with showers, a wooden sundeck overlooking Mamora Bay, flat screen televisions in each room, cable television service, WI-FI, stainless steel kitchen, washer and dryer, open air dining and a bar.
All-Inclusive
The All-Inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as afternoon tea, snacks throughout the day, and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass including water, juice, milk, soft drinks, wine, beer, liquor, and cocktails; non-motorized water sports, entertainment and multiple activities throughout the day.

Rainbow Garden | Fully renovated from the ground up with beautiful new design elements, the Rainbow Garden offers a fantastic new dining experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As the resort’s main eatery, it is set amidst tropical gardens with a large airy indoor dining area, and a spacious wrap-around open-air patio fringed by lush tropical greenery. It offers a casual breakfast and lunch daily for buffet-style and à la carte dining, and has an extensive à la carte menu available for dinner seven days a week, as well as internationally-themed buffet evenings that are a favorite among guests.
Mamora Bay Café | The Mamora Bay Café coffee house is conveniently located close to the lobby area and is built into the treetops to offer a beautifully shaded area for guests to enjoy a coffee and relax throughout the day. Designed as a snack on-the-go style facility, guests may choose from a variety of specialty coffees, smoothies, teas and pastries. This new outlet is divided into two distinct areas, a coffee area and an artist’s exhibition area, where local arts and crafts are showcased for guests’ pleasure and all are available for purchase.
Piccolo Mondo | Island life was made for dining in stunning locations, and enjoying the exquisite creations of a talented chef is one of life’s great pleasures. Enjoy sweeping views and Italian cuisine with an elegant Caribbean twist at Piccolo Mondo. Its diverse menu features special items such as Veal Scaloppini Milanese and grilled catch of the day on a bed of saffron risotto. The restaurant’s striking hillside setting and romantic ambience is perfect for an intimate, relaxing dining experience.
Coco Beach Restaurant & Bar | Located on an upper deck providing sea views in a bright and breezy setting, offering a selection of authentic à la carte Caribbean plates and locally-inspired dishes for a true taste of Antigua. Many menu items are served on tapas-style sharing plates ideal for families and groups of friends that want to experience a variety of flavors. Guests enjoy the variety of wine, beer, frosty cocktails and other refreshing beverages to complement their dishes or enjoy at the bar.
The Docksider | Located right at the water’s edge, The Docksider boasts stunning views of Mamora Bay and features charming nautical décor. This seaside restaurant specializes in Caribbean-inspired dishes with freshly-caught seafood and offers a bountiful buffet of dishes. Thursdays are Caribbean Night, with a buffet showcasing specialties from around the region as well as steel band music performances and other entertainment. Other themed evenings feature tastes and delights from other parts of the globe.
Eleven/11 | This open-air restaurant offers a selection of tasty dishes amid stunning ocean views. Enjoy breakfast (open seasonally), lunch and dinner with the warmth of the Caribbean breeze, in this casual setting. This beautiful airy restaurant is ornamented with Caribbean touches, in a relaxing atmosphere where you can savor the delights of an à la carte menu with a casual selection of salads, soups, burgers, pastas and other nightly specials, as well as tropical cocktails and of course our signature rum punch.
Mamora Bay Grill | The Mamora Bay Grill is situated directly on the beach, where guests can enjoy a variety of grilled fare and light lunches including hamburgers, fish sandwiches and other quick bites. This idyllic spot is perfect for guests that don’t want to leave the beach while they enjoy a full day of beach-side relaxation, swimming the calm water of the Bay and partaking in the variety of watersport activities available to them.
Lounges and Bars | St. James’s Club and Villas has six distinct lounges and bars for guests enjoyment, all conveniently included in the All-Inclusive plan. The Reef Deck Bar beckons guests adjacent to the main pool and provides a wide selection of bottomless signature frosty cocktails in a relaxing pool-side setting throughout the daytime. The property’s three beach bars, Mamora Bay Bar, Coco Beach Bar and the Royal Pool Bar, for royal suites guests, feature the resort’s signature rum punch and a variety of other options suited to daytime beachside enjoyment. And for guests’ ultimate convenience, a Beach Cart with soda, beer, rum and fruit punch also provides refreshments to sun worshipers on Coco Beach during the day. The newly redesigned Jacaranda Bar and Lounge features nightly entertainment and cocktails in a trendy, air-conditioned venue, then morphs into a hip nightclub on select evenings with a DJ.

It’s always cool by the pool, so St. James’s Club & Villas guests can chill out in a new location anytime they like. Each of the resort’s six pools has its own distinctive personality.
Beach
Perched on a hillside overlooking Antigua’s beautiful southeastern coast, St. James’s Club offers two idyllic white-sand beaches with very different personalities – the peaceful shores of Mamora Bay and the exciting surf of Coco Beach.
Guests can opt to relax or play, with a wide range of non-motorized water sports at their disposal, all complimentary to guests, on Mamora Bay’s beautiful swathe of white sand fringed by palm trees that cast cooling, deep blue shade. Here you will enjoy the views of the lovely, Mediterranean-style villas that dot the verdant hillside, while boats and brightly colored catamarans quietly bob at anchor in the warm Caribbean waters.
Waves and whitecaps meet the shores the second sweeping beach, perfect for tanning or swimming in the invigorating ocean waters. Take refuge in the cool breezes that play among the many swaying palm trees carefully planted here for your enjoyment.
Golf
Golfers can perfect their strokes at two 18-hole courses. The Cedar Valley Golf Course, designed by Ralph Aldridge, is an 18-hole, 6,157 yard, par-70 course with beautiful greens and sweeping views of the surrounding hilltops and the Caribbean Sea.

Nearby Attractions
With some 365 beaches to choose from on Antigua, there’s a new beach to visit every day. Closer to the resort, some south coast beach favorites include Frye’s Bay, Darkwood Beach, and the beaches near Johnson’s Point and Rendezvous Bay. Farther afield, Half Moon Bay and Dickenson’s Beach are among tourist and local favorites. Check out the vibrant array of sea life awaiting right offshore in azure Mamora Bay or ride on one of the catamaran excursions to experience the waters.
Kids Program
The St James’s Club Kids Club | The experienced staff run a schedule of different activities throughout the day, with the schedule changing weekly for children ages four to 12. From art classes to nature trails and swimming activities, children of all ages are entertained. In addition there are seasonal themed programs for Halloween, Easter and Christmas. Parents are welcome to stay with their children and join in with the activities on offer. The St. James’s Kids Club provides a safe and fun environment for children, leaving the parents to relax and enjoy the resort.
