Room Details
The 582 room resort includes a 360 room hotel with 32 suites, 20 bungalows, 50 ocean view Casitas and 32 villas. The bungalow and casita units lock off to provide multiple room configurations. Guest rooms range from 450-square-feet to the 2,200-square-foot Presidential Suite. The two and three bedroom Villas are located in an enclave and range in size from 1,850 square feet to 2,800 square feet. Nestled along the resort's east and west ocean bluffs are the 50, three bedroom Casitas, each capable of locking off in a combination of up to three separate rooms. The two bedroom Bungalows offer 1,642 square feet of comfort that can be locked off into two separate rooms. Guest room amenities include private balconies, views of the Pacific Ocean, multi-media desktop work stations, four-fixture bathrooms, custom bathroom amenities, salon-style hair dryer, flat screen television, wireless high-speed Internet access, iron and ironing board, complimentary coffee and tea set up and an in-room safe.
Guest Services
Services include a full-service Business Center, concierge staff, separate group check-in desk, meeting and special event space, daily maid service, nightly turndown service, daily newspaper, in-room dining options and high speed internet access.
Restaurants
mar'sel the signature restaurant, Spanish for “sea” and French for “salt” is a destination in and of itself. This classic Southern California oceanfront restaurant has a warm residential feel complementing a menu reflecting a simple, modern representation of California cuisine. Herbs and produce are grown on property in the chef's herb and vegetable garden.
Nelson's is a particularly scenic located directly above the Pacific with a view to the Point Vicente Lighthouse. Menu offerings include regional favorites presented in a casual atmosphere while you relax by outdoor fire pits and soak in the incredible natural beauty of the coastline.
Catalina Kitchen offers a culinary adventure throughout the day where it's all about good food, at any time with kids, friends or colleagues.
bashi is a causal contemporary Asian culinary experience embracing a wide array of cultures showcasing fresh contemporary ‘wok' prepared dishes with traditional flavors and spices.
In addition, enjoy Cielo Point at the adult pool, The Lobby Bar, Living Room and Terrace and sea beans coffee boutique.
Recreation
Pointe Discovery is an active-living store offering adventures that explore the rich local terrain and ocean environment, as well as a place to purchase the gear needed to do them. A one-stop shop for guests in search of highly creative, customized and indigenous active experiences, its Aqua-Terra Adventures program taps into the expertise of local naturalists, ornithologists and artists to create land and sea based activities that offer teachable moments in nature, which highlight Palos Verdes’ unique ecology and character.
Explore the resorts three heated swimming pools with private cabanas and food service. The Resort pool is available for all guests and features a 140-foot waterslide, children's splash zone, two hot tubs and a fire pit. The Cielo Point pool offers spectacular ocean views for guests 18 years of age and older and the Spa pool offers spectacular ocean views and is available before and after spa services.
Also enjoy Discovery Trail, a bluff-top trail that connects miles of coastal trails, a secluded beach cove and Tennis offered at the nearby Peninsula Racket Club with a complimentary resort shuttle to and from the facility.
Golf
The Links at Terranea, designed by Todd Eckenrode, Origins Golf Design Irvine, CA, is a 9-hole par 3 oceanfront course, including short game practice area with chipping and putting greens. Located on one of the most scenic peninsulas in Southern California with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The practice putting green is an expansive 2-tiered complex that can be utilized as a 9 or 18-hole putting course.
Trump National Golf Club, a public course, is located three miles south of the property.
Spa
The Spa at Terranea is a 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art complex nestled in a secluded, unrivaled setting with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The Spa offers customized wellness treatments that welcome both resort and day visitors. including 25 treatment rooms. In additional are an oudoor space with ocean view terraces, hot tubs and Spa pool, a Spa Café, manicure and pedicure stations, hair and beauty salon services, expansive retail outlet with custom spa products, a separate men's and women's indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.
Fitness
Complimentary daily Yoga and Pilates classes are availble. Enjoy a 5,000 square-foot fitness facility with state-of-the-art exercise equipment.
Kids Program
The Tide Pool kids club, featuring a full complement of supervised activities, including games, arts and crafts, nature walks and tide pool exploration.
Family Information
Children 17 and younger stay at no additional charge in the same room as their parents.
