Located in the Central Pacific Region of Puntarenas Costa Rica, just 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from San Jose and Juan Santamaria International Airport. The hotel is set within a tropical rainforest and the warm Pacific Coast near Jaco beach Costa Rica.

The hotel offers a variety of facilities including an infinity pool, spa, restaurants and bars, boutique, tour center and a private beach. Alongside Villa Caletas also offers the Zephyr Palace (separate complex) a lavish mansion with seven distinct themed suites, the ultimate of luxury hotels in Costa Rica.

Room Details

Villa Caletas has 43 rooms and suites with garden, courtyard, partial ocean or ocean views. Amenities include coffee maker, hairdryer, internet access, laundry services, local or international calls, private bathrooms, room service, safe and satellite TV. In addition suites are equipped with private jacuzzis or plunge pools.
Zephyr Palace offers seven speciality suites, each uniquely decorated and themed. Themes include the New World Suite, Twentieth Years Suite, Egypt Suite, Oriental Suite, African Suite, Royal Suite and the Imperial Suite.

Guest Services

Services include a tour center and concierge, wedding and event venues, meeting rooms, room service and daily maid service.

Restaurants

Mirador Restaurant offers culinary and creative cuisine where the recipes combine delicious flavor with artful presentation. Desserts crown the occasion, with extraordinary pies and cakes in a variety of fruit sauces. Let our chef surprise and delight you, open for dinner.
Anfiteatro Bar & Restaurant sits in an amazing Greek amphitheatre and offers sunset views on the Pacific Ocean and the Rain Fores. A local favorite featuring international cuisine and known for service, consistency and quality. Outdoor dining is available in the Anfiteatro Restaurant for those looking for succulent specialties and intimate surrounding.
El Pelicano Beach Bar & Restaurant situated on a very private beach offering a beautiful area to relax under the sun or under the cool shade. Serving refreshing drinks and delicious snacks during the day.

Recreation

The vast, deep-blue pool with an "infinity" edge creates the illusion of being one with the Pacific Ocean. An island of tropical plants, a miniature waterfall, adds to the serenity that reigns at this magnificent pool area, in keeping with the atmosphere of the gardens. We offer bar and lunch service by the pool where you can enjoy our delicious cocktails and a la carte menu. Villa Caletas is very involved with the Certificate of Sustainable Tourism (CST program). We want our guest to be able to touch and feel the nature around them and that is why we have created a trail on our grounds that goes from the top of the mountain to our private Caletas beach. White face monkeys, toucans and coatis might cross your way as you go down as well as all the magnificent plants and flowers. Close to the end you will find a little river with some waterfalls and little whirlpool where you can plunge in and relax with the sounds of the forest surrounding you.

Beach

One mile from the hotel, guests can enjoy Caletas beach, an hourly transfer is available. This private pebble beach is equipped with sun beds, showers, restrooms and El Pelicano snack bar. For an extremely enjoyable experience, try Caleta One, our private boat where you can take trips to Tortuga Island or a romantic sunset cruise. Caletas One is available for private skippered cruise rental for up to ten guests.

Spa
