Carmel Valley extends from the coastal village of Carmel-by-the-Sea into the heart of the Santa Lucia Mountains. Suite Details

Each of the 139 newly renovated suites features cathedral ceilings, travertine fireplaces, comfortable custom-made furnishings, limestone bathrooms, private decks, and a soft, understated color scheme that complements the resort’s surroundings. Amenities in all suites include a 42" flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player, iPod docking station with alarm clock, separate shower and soaking tub, complimentary wireless internet, Keurig single-cup coffee makers, plush robes, laptop-size safe, iron and ironing board, complimentary newspaper delivery and Body Bliss aromatherapy bath amenities.
Suites are available in studios and one- to four-bedrooms.
Santa Lucia Suites are studio-style suites feature a king size bed with forest or valley views.
Ranch Suites are generously sized with a living room, deck and either a king bed or two double beds. The Hilltop version of this suite reflects our most coveted and premium views.
Garland Suites are expansive one-bedroom suites with a king bed, a living room, two fireplaces and a large deck. The Hilltop version of this suite reflects our most coveted and premium views.
Estate Suites each of these four spacious suites offer a different look, with cosmopolitan design and the modern conveniences of a personal residence. They offer a living room and kitchenette area with stainless steel appliances.
Oak Grove Suite offers a bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room, a spacious dining room perfect for gathering with family, friends or colleagues, two bathrooms, two fireplaces and spectacular views of the valley.
Carmel Suites both offer a master bedroom with a king-size bed, the second bedroom with a king or two double beds, a living room, two spacious bathrooms and two fireplaces.

Restaurants

Lodge Restaurant features Executive Chef Tim Wood’s culinary exploits—many involving fruits and vegetables from The Ranch’s Organic Garden—are on full display for breakfast, lunch and dinner in our Lodge Restaurant. Indoor, outdoor and lounge seating are all available.
River Ranch Cafe is the newest addition and resides in The Ranch’s most historic building (132 years old). Join us poolside at the high-energy, family-oriented River Ranch for a mix of your favorite grill items, sandwiches, salads, sweets, coffee, smoothies, beer and wine. Order at the counter or browse our bountiful Grab ‘n Go selection; indoor and outdoor seating are both available.
Golf Clubhouse is conveniently located near the 9th and 18th holes and offers light sandwiches, salads, and beer on tap. Ideal for a quick bite before or after your round.
The Adventure Kitchen is home to hands-on cooking demonstrations and ongoing "Ranch Chef" competitions.

Recreation

Nine court tennis complex including seven resurfaced hard courts and two clay courts, plus a sport court, two sundrenched outdoor salt-water swimming pools, scenic hiking, biking, and running trails, winding through nearly 500 lush acres of resort grounds, a sustainable four-acre pinot noir vineyard, year-round organic garden, and a world-class bee apiary where our guests can don protective suits and engage with the hives, bocce and basketball courts are all available for your enjoyment. Outdoor adventures among the gardens, beehives, and the wonders of falcons, owls and hawks, along with indoor pursuits such as culinary demonstrations at The Market and Creamery, candle- and soap-making, and other arts and crafts.

Golf

Carmel Valley Ranch Golf Course is the only Pete Dye design in Northern California. The 18-hole, par-70 course has earned a reputation for its stunning views, friendly wildlife, tactical challenges and playability. Experience championship-level play at a course rated among the "Best US Golf Resorts" by Travel and Leisure's "World's Best" readers' survey. The course recently underwent a multi-million dollar enhancement, and now features a layout restored to Pete Dye's original design, T1 Bentgrass, enlarged greens and improved tee boxes, and a soaring, renovated Clubhouse.
Nearby is famed Pebble Beach whose courses include Spy Glass, Cypress Point, Spanish Bay, Poppy Hills, MPCC and of course, the links at Pebble Beach.

Spa

Spa Aiyana, which translates as eternal blossom, is nestled in the treetops overlooking pastoral Carmel Valley below, adjacent to the resort's main gathering area, the Lodge and the Lodge pool. The spa spans 10,500 square feet and has 11 treatment rooms, most of which have private outdoor terraces. There are three couples treatment rooms, grouped in the same wing, allowing them to be sequestered for private functions, such as pre-wedding and birthday spa celebrations. The spa also features private men's and women's locker rooms, with steam saunas, as well as a co-ed Relaxation Lounge and Fitness Center. Spa Aiyana's inspiration unfolds with each passing season, allowing us to provide our guests with uniquely cultivated products that showcase the "craft" of customized spa rituals. The abundance of florals, herbs, and botanicals that dot the landscape of Carmel Valley Ranch is truly a gift! Our natural harvest is continuously cultivated and renewed, and we bring that to each and every guest experience offered at Spa Aiyana. Spa services include massage therapies, body therapies, advanced and organic skincare, visible results oxygen fusion, nail care, and waxing.

Ranch Hand Kids Camps are designed by certified schoolteachers, provides just enough structure to inspire and initiate unforgettable experiences, yet plenty of freedom for young minds to be creative and put their imagination to work.
