GoldenEye is located in Oracabessa Bay, in the parish of St. Mary, 20 minutes outside of Ocho Rios on the north coast of Jamaica and is five minutes from an international airport. It is located within walking distance of regional attractions which include James Bond Beach, Turtle Beach, and Dolphin Cove.

General Information

Golden Eye is a private beach resort set in a tropical forest, which includes three miles of coastline with coral cliffs, sheltered beaches, secluded coves and a lagoon.

Villa Description

All villas feature a writing desk and chair, minibar, lounge chair, HDTV, bookshelves, overhead fan, air conditioning, mosquito net, built in bathtub, overhead rain shower, single sing, iron with ironing board and a safety deposit box.
One Bedroom Oceanfront and Beach Villas feature a queen size bedroom, an indoor antique claw foot bathtub, large foldout doors that lead to an outdoor tropical garden rain shower, separate lounge/entertainment area, kitchen with garden verandah overlooking the Caribbean Sea, second bamboo shower/bathroom between the lounge and bedroom, private tropical garden patio with amazing sea views, a music speaker, HDTV with Apple TV, refrigerator, coffee press, welcome gift, outdoor dining table and chaise loungers, complimentary Wi Fi access, overhead fans and air conditioning.
One Bedroom Lagoon Hut features a cozy, charming and nestled villa that is in it's own tropical garden, it was one of the first structures built at GoldenEye. Beautifully sited, Spanish Elm has a view across the lagoon.

Restaurants

Bizot Bar located on the western arm of Low Cay Beach, this bar is the sport for stylish low key dining. Located just steps from the sea and the fresh water swimming pool, Bizot Bar serves breakfast and lunch that includes fresh salads, yummy burgers and tasty pastas, as well as famously authentic and delicious Jamaican specialties.
The Gazebo is built in an aerie, tree house-style and serves up dishes with international flavor. Overlooking both Low Cay Beach and The Lagoon, the Gazebo is the sexy, open-air spot to enjoy cocktails while watching fiery Caribbean sunsets. Dishes range from grilled lobster tail to seasoned rack of lamb, complemented with an international wine list.

Recreation

Guests can enjoy activities including watersports, tennis, morning fishing trips, GoldenEye glass bottom boat rides, fresh water swimming pool, bird watching and backgammon.

Beach

GoldenEye’s main beach, Low Cay, is 500 feet of smooth sand that’s ideal for sunning, relaxing and swimming.

Spa

FieldSpa allows you to exist in a more mindful and peaceful tempo, a cadence that allows you to breathe more deeply, live more slowly and more fully when returning to work and home. With its lagoon's edge cottage and open-to-the air treatment rooms, this spa without walls is a sanctuary for massage, salt scrubs, skin brightening facials, herbal wraps, and energy work. So built into the natural landscape, guests can kayak or swim through the lagoon to arrive at the spa. In room treatments are also available. This spa shares an approach to living that enlivens with energy, happiness, and health.

Fitness

The fun, fitness-focused experiences include lagoon rafting, stand-up paddleboarding and core balance and strength instruction. Guests can also mountain bike to Firefly, play tennis, or simply jog along the coast. Other uniquely inspirational and experiential activities are available, including sunset yoga, and coral restoration.

Nearby Attractions

Many day trips are offered close to the resort and other fun excursions including scuba diving, deep sea fishing, river tubing, Dunn's River Falls, Firefly Hill, horseback riding and more.

Kids Program

Families with children of all ages are welcome at GoldenEye! There are more than 30 acres of gardens, woods, lagoons, caves and beaches for them to explore. For after dinner fun, there is a huge selection of DVDs in the front office.
